Today I Wish to chat about Kombucha. Which is obviously utterly unrelated to those Banana Oatmeal Cookies, however I understand you won't mind.
Allow me to start off by saying that my husband beverages apple cider vinegar mixed with water every morning to decrease inflammation or something like that.
He claims it's magical. I assert it is nasty.
While I know this is going to seem spectacular (because it is)I actually dry heave at the sight and smell of his morning ritual to a daily basis. He loves that around me personally.
Based on this reaction, an individual would believe that I would stay far away from Kombucha, directly? I suggest, after all, it certainly comes with a vinegary tang.
However, for whatever reason, I keep trying it. I Wish to enjoy it SO DANG BAD.

I like these biscuits a little about the left handed side, therefore I bake them for 9 or 10 seconds. If you prefer these to be cooked through, I would shoot for 10-11 minutes.

BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES
1/2 cup unsalted butterat room temperature
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then mix in the egg until completely incorporated. Scrape the sides of the bowl and add in the mashed bananas and vanilla.
Gently add the bread mixture to the banana mixture and mix until just combined.
Scrape the sides of the bowl and then stir to recombine.
Stir in the oats and chocolate chips and blend until incorporated.
Use a moderate cookie scoop (about 1.5 tablespoons) to scoop the dough on prepared cookie sheets leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
Bake in preheated oven for about 9-11 minutes.
Remove cookies from the oven and gently press the shirts of each cookie using the bottom of a drinking glass. Since these cookies do not spread much, this can help give them a conventional cookie shape.
Enable the banana oatmeal cookies to cool on the cookie sheets for 5 minutes before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
